What a beautiful site you've created. I saw the article in the Kenosha News and wanted to check it out. Thank you for serving our country. May wonderful memories help you family through this difficult time.

We understand the feelings you have. Our sons willingly did what they were called to do. Forever in our debt, all veterans of America, "thank you" and may Jesus be with you all.

I did not know Ricky, but I have heard great stories about him when his sister came to my store to have dog tags made for her family in honor of Ricky. I read an article today on the internet and came to this website to read more. I'm glad to learn of what a wonderful man Ricky was. Ricky's story is one of great hope. His memory will live on in his family and in the people that his story has touched, like myself. God Bless.

I really miss you, Rick. Although I know you are in a better place I selfishly wish you were here. I could really use your smile right now and your reassurance that everything is just fine. Love and miss you until the day we meet again.

I miss you sooo much. It was hard to swallow knowing the anniversary was coming up. You are loved and you are missed. Until we meet again!

Thank you Dave for the loving video of your brother Ricky. I didn't know your brother, but I know you and through you I was able to meet him. Thank you.

Ricky, I did not know you personally, but I knew you through my fiance. He was deployed with you, both tours. I can not believe it has been a year already. There has not been a single day I haven't thought about you, your family, and especially Kristen. My heart just breaks in so many directions. I want to thank you for your sacrifice and service, you are the true definition of a hero! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Ricky.

Thank you, Ricky, for your service to our country. Although your life here on earth was short, you made such a difference in the lives of the people around you. To your family- Thank you for sharing Ricky's life with us through this website! I pray that the Lord will give you peace and carry you through the times when you feel like you can no longer stand or when the pain is just to much to bear! In our thoughts and prayers!

I can hardly believe it has been a year already! I am still humbled by the events that took place after Ricky's passing. I will always remember his sacrifice along with countless others but there is no doubt that his hit home. God bless the Nelson family.
